“I wanna go over Kayla’s house, daddy!” Shia said to me. We were just leaving Geraldine’s house and I was picking up dinner, since Britain was ready to burst. I told her not to cook. Geraldine’s stubborn ass said she didn’t feel like it, so I was on my way to Red Lobster to grab food.

“I don’t know, baby girl. You already know how your mama is when you go over your friend’s house,” I told her. She looked at me with her lip poked out, looking like the spitting image of her mother. She knew when she did that she could get away with murder.

“It’s not fair! I want to play with my friends! They never want to come over because of Tookie. All the girls hang out over each other’s houses and I can’t! Brittany told me it’s because I’m too good to come over their house! She said it’s because my parents are celebrities. She also said that my house is bigger than everyone else’s and that’s why my parents don’t allow me to come over there!” she said with tears in her eyes.

I knew it was still taking her time to get adjusted to her new life. When my mother was taking care of her she lived a normal life. But now, I have to be careful about where she goes. Niggas out here are thirsty—they would kidnap a child in a minute especially if they know their parents are caked up.

“Call Kayla’s mother,” I told her. I knew Britain was going to tear my head off and hold out on the pussy, but Shia needed to be around girls her age. I noticed she acted a little too grown for her age and it’s because she’s always under her mother, Geraldine and Latavia.

I looked over at her pink nails and they were polished with something she called gel polish. Her hair was in big wild curls, and she had lip-gloss on her lips. Her small Louis Vuitton purse was strapped across her shoulder and it matched her shoes. I just noticed how grown Britain actually had my daughter looking! Shia was only nine-and-a-half years old!

She pulled out her new iPhone with some type of glittery shit on there, and that’s when it really hit me. My daughter was missing out on childhood!

She handed me the phone and Kayla’s mother gave me the address. It was a forty- five-minute ride, but without the traffic, I could get there in a half-hour according to my GPS.

I called Domo up. He is one of the head bodyguards when I go out on tour to do my concerts. I’m going to let Shia play with her friends but she can’t be away from me like that by herself. Domo told me he should be there in fifteen minutes, which was perfect!

Twenty-five minutes later I pulled up in front of a nice suburban home. The door opens and I’m assuming it’s Kayla’s mother who is walking out. I was expecting a white woman because not too many black women name their daughters Kayla. I looked across the street and there were three Tahoe’s with tinted windows parked across the street.

I got out of the car and Shia excitedly got out running to her friend. Kayla’s mother eyed me up and down then licked her lips before speaking. “Who are they?” she asked pointing across the street.

“They’re here for my daughter. If that’s a problem, she can leave,” I said to her.

“No, it’s okay! I totally understand! So, you are the famous rapper, O’Shea? I thought Kayla was telling stories when she said that her friend’s dad is famous,” she said laughing.

I brushed her off then peeked around her, I called out to Shia. “Baby girl, come here for a second!” She walked to me, stomping her feet. She even picked up her mother’s snobby attitude. “Fix your face, Shia! What I tell you about that?” I asked her.

  “I’m sorry,” she said.

I kneeled down in front of her. “Domo is across the street. He’s not coming in but will be around the house. When he texts you and asks if you’re okay, respond back. If you don’t, he is going to come in here and get you! I’m going to let you play with your friend but that’s all I want,” I told her.

She smiled. “Okay, daddy!” She kissed my cheek.

I waved them off as they walked into the house. “Would you like to come in?” she asked me.

“Naw, I’m good! I have to pick up my fiancé. We will be here to scoop her up in a few hours,” I told her. This bitch was too thirsty! I wasn’t falling for it!

“My name is Latisa since you never asked” she said, licking her lips. She wasn’t a bad-looking chick. She kind of reminded me of the singer, Ciara. She had the same body-build and facial features.

“Shorty, I know all of that. Domo ran your license plate. I need to know who is watching my daughter. You have a nice one. Tell her I’ll be here in two hours!” I said over my shoulder.

I picked the food up from Applebee’s then headed to Geraldine’s neighborhood. I know Britain is going to cuss me out from being late with her food and dropping Shia off. I got out, walking up the steps. My phone rang in my pocket. I hurried up and dug for it. I prayed to God it wasn’t Domo telling me something happened to Shia.

It was Kenjay. “Nigga, you have to get to Britain!” he said.

“I am! I’m ready to walk into the house now!” I told him. All of a sudden, I hear Britain screaming and a nigga yelling. I dropped the food as I pulled my gun out from behind my back. I opened up the door and bullets started flying.

“They’re trying to kill you!” Britain screamed out. I kneeled down and started shooting. Since that shootout at Kenjay’s house, I never left home without a bulletproof vest on.

“Come in here! You punk- motherfucker!” a man’s voice called out to me.

“If you don’t, I will kill your bitch. Drop the gun now! You know she’s in labor,” he said laughing. I prayed silently to myself because I knew I was a dead man. My shorty was in there and she was carrying my son. I dropped my gun then walked into the house. Geraldine was lying on the floor and Britain was sitting on the couch sweating. I could see the pain in her face. I bit my bottom lip as I watched her bitch-ass daddy hold a gun to her head.

The nigga Fitz was standing on the side of me with a gun pointed to my head.

“Yo, get that shit out of her face! You got a problem with me? Let’s deal with it man to man! She has nothing to do with this shit!” I gritted then he smiled.

“You got a lot of heart don’t you? Unlike your bitch-ass father! I thought you was just a little fake-ass, gangsta rapper who went to private school and wanted to be hip! You really are a gutta nigga, aren’t you? What are your intentions with my daughter, son?” he asked laughing.

I looked into Britain’s eyes and they were pleading with me. I had to think smart because these niggas would kill her too.

“You son of a bitch!” Geraldine cried, screaming at Lenny. This crazy nigga blew her a kiss. I balled my fists up.

I grilled the nigga Fitz and it was taking everything in me not to fuck this nigga up. Britain started screaming. “I can feel him coming! His head is coming out!” she cri
ed.

“Let her go now, nigga!” I shouted. My heart was racing and my adrenaline was pumping.

“She’s your daughter, Lenny!” Geraldine screamed.

“I told you, money comes first! This nigga put his nose into something that he shouldn’t have! Javier was a very important man and he had the connections to get me what I wanted! Billions of dollars if I would’ve linked up with him once he inherited the Cuban cartel! It’s all gone now!” Lenny yelled with spit coming out of his mouth.

“I need a doctor!” Britain whispered. Her face was turning pale and she looked like she was ready to pass out.

“Shut the hell up!” Lenny said, smacking her in the face. I lost it then and lounged into the nigga, knocking him off the couch.

I punched him in the face and a shot rang out missing my head by a few inches. These niggas could kill me but I wasn’t going to let another man put his hands on my shorty! I hit him harder and I could feel the bone in his nose crush. Another shot rang out and the nigga Fitz missed again. Lenny tried swinging on me, but I hit him harder. I felt a blow to my head, knocking me off him.

Fitz kicked me in the mouth. This nigga could’ve killed me if he wanted to, but he didn’t have it him. This nigga was a bitch! I spit the blood out of my mouth.

“You chump-ass nigga! You don’t even have the heart to murk a nigga!” I said as his hand shook while he had the gun pointed at me. Lenny tried reaching for his gun, but I got up, tackling him to the floor. Geraldine tried grabbing the gun but Fitz kicked her in the mouth. Britain screamed and cried.

All of a sudden, a shot rang out hitting Fitz in the back, making him drop to the floor. A few more shots rang out. I ducked because they were flying my way. Lenny crawled across the floor towards the back of the door. More bullets started flying but they were flying at Lenny. He managed to get out of the backdoor then he bolted.

I stood up and there was a nigga with dreads standing in the doorway with a wife-beater on, jeans and a pair of Timbs. A black bandana covered his lower face. He walked towards Fitz as he crawled on the floor with blood trailing behind him. The dread-head kicked him in the head. The impact flipped his body over.

He pulled his bandana down. I think he was the same nigga that popped up at Kenjay’s house with his brother and Kenjay’s father after we had that big shoot-out.

Fitz pissed himself. “What’s up, fam?” the dread-head asked Fitz.

“Corey, please! Nigga you know me, man!” he cried.

“You have a bounty on your head, nigga, and I come to collect! You already know what time it is!” Corey said.

I rushed over to Britain. Geraldine was taking her pants off along with her panties. My shorty was about to deliver my son in the middle of a war-zone. She squeezed my hand and, for the life of me, I didn’t know what to do!

“Aye! You’re supposed to get her some towels! Fuck is wrong with you?” Corey asked me.

“Yo, shut the fuck up and let me think!” I told him, panicking. Geraldine got up leaving Britain screaming and crying with her legs gapped open.

“Baby, calm down!” I told her.

“I can’t!” She screamed so loud it pierced my ears. Geraldine came back then put a rag on her head.

Britain was in a room with two other niggas showing all of her pussy! I grabbed a towel putting it around her waist.

I placed my hand between her legs and I could feel my son’s head. “I think he’s stuck!” she yelled.

“Shorty, listen to me! I’m nervous right now! I know that it hurts but can you do a little less screaming and more pushing! He can’t just stay in there like that! Push hard!” I told her. She grabbed one of the pillows off of the couch stuffing it into her mouth, I guess to keep her from screaming. She pushed harder as tears fell down her face. My son came out but he wasn’t crying.

“Man. Shit! Y’all motherfuckers got me over here playing doctor!” Corey said, running into the kitchen. He came back with a turkey baster. He put it into my son’s nose sucking some fluids out then he did the same to his mouth. My son started crying.

“He was choking nigga!” Corey said to me.

A light-skinned, tall nigga walked in. He looked like he was about twenty. Then the nigga Royal came in with murder in his eyes.

“What the fuck are y’all niggas doing in my house? Where the hell are the police?” Geraldine asked.

“We came to pick up that punk-ass nigga! The police aren’t coming. Well, not right now, anyways!” Royal said.

“Aren’t y’all going to cut the umbilical cord?” the light-skinned nigga asked me.

“Rico, my nigga! What you know about that?” Corey asked him as Royal dragged Fitz towards the back door.

“Where is Shia?” Britain asked, as Geraldine cut the cord then wrapped the baby in a blanket.

“She is over a friend’s house.” She let out a breath of relief.

Fitz was saying something then started crying like a bitch. Royal pulled out a long knife with a pointy, skinny tip then stabbed him in the side with it. The nigga Rico duck-taped Fitz’s mouth. I heard a car pull up to the back of the house. They dragged him out of the backdoor, and a few minutes later, I heard them leaving.

Corey walked down the hall just before we heard glass breaking. It sounded like he was leaving out of the window. I guess he heard the sirens and didn’t have time to lift the window up.

“What the fuck just happened?” Britain asked cradling the baby.

“I don’t know, Brownie. But those niggas are CRAZY! I have never, in my life, seen some shit like that before!” Geraldine said. She looked at me then smiled. “You shocked me too, lil’ grown nigga! I thought you was going to bitch up and run!” she said to me. I shook my head at her.

“I’m murking your bitch-ass daddy! I put that on both of my mamas! That nigga is dead!” I told Britain.

I didn’t give a fuck about the media! All of that shit became irrelevant when that nigga violated my family. I killed my own pops for that shit! I hope she didn’t thinks hers wasn’t off-limits!

  Kenjay

I heard Latavia’s voice and a few other unknown voices. I could make out Leodonis’s voice and a few others. I opened my eyes and my vision was blurry. My head was pounding and my body ached.

I slowly sat up and Latavia ran to me, wrapping her arms around me, squeezing me. I winced in pain.

“Come on, shorty! My fucking body hurt!” I spat.

I looked around and I was in a room that I wasn’t familiar with. Leodonis was sitting in a chair puffing on a Cuban cigar with a beautiful brown-skinned woman standing next to him with hazel eyes.

“Welcome back, hijo! But you really are hardheaded, aren’t you? I thought I told you to stay out of it!” he said with anger dripping from his voice.

“How many fucking times do I have to tell you that I do what the fuck I want to do?” I spat, trying to get up. My body felt like it was being pulled down as I stood up.

“Watch your damn mouth!” the woman said to me. I assumed it was his wife. I grilled her because these motherfuckers were on one!

“Now you got your woman following behind you, trying to tell my grown-ass what to do!” I said.

“Hijo, I been taking a lot of your smart comments but you will respect my wife! Watch your fucking tongue, unless you don’t want it! Respect what she asks in her presence, as I would do for your woman!” he said to me. I bit my bottom lip and balled up my fists. I wanted to fuck this nigga up badly!

“You want to fight?” he asked me in his strong accent. I smirked.

“What is your old a—” I stopped talking when his wife grilled me.

“Man, get gone! I need to hurry up and get out of here!” I said remembering Britain and O’Shea were in trouble. Gunshots were the last thing I heard over the phone before I crashed.

“Your friends are fine!” he said.

“They are fine, baby! Britain called me an hour ago,” Latavia said.

“How did I end up here and not the
hospital?” I asked. I didn’t feel comfortable being in this nigga’s house.

“I have connections and that’s all you need to know!” Leodonis replied.

“Whatever, nigga! I need to get home. My body is sore and my head hurts!” I said no longer wanting to hear about anything else.

“You stay here for a few days. Your head need to be monitored. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you hijo!” Leodonis said.

I could argue but I chose not to because my head was pounding. My vision all of sudden got blurry. I felt sharp-like needle pains pricking through my head. I laid my head down on the pillow.

“What’s the matter, baby?” Latavia asked as she rubbed my arm. “He needs to go to the hospital!” she cried.
